Someone once called me the voice of my generation. I never got his name, and he was wearing the same  hoodie as me but the words were spelled backwards. I’d say he was Arabic if he hadn’t been blonde.

I struggle with addiction (drugs, alcohol, sex, fill in the blank), reckless spending, fear of being institutionalized, and how my friend Melanie graduated from a top tier university without learning how to use a can opener.

My writing is an outlet  – sometimes it’s sad, sometimes it’s funny, sometimes I  reveal things I later regret, but I can promise it will always be entertaining.

I never thought I’d live to see 28, but here I am, and with an Amex I haven’t maxed out yet. Life is ridiculous…enjoy laughing at mine.

I do freelance articles  for select periodicals, use the contact page to express interest.
